I am Nadia Lager, CEO of Porto Rafael Real Estate, my agency in Porto Rafael. To tell its story, I must start with a short tale. I don't believe in astrology, but the planet which leads my sign is Venus, the star of beauty: even if skeptical about horoscopes, I do admit search for beauty has guided my whole life, as a distant sound to follow, that pushed me towards an instinctive and passionate journey.

Home, the key word of my life. Travelling: first Korea, Japan, China. I am one of the few women traveling to Asia for work. I attend meetings, buy goods, discuss prices, learn the art of mediation, improve my professional tools. The sound starts calling me somewhere else. Thailand, Burma, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Indonesia, Kenya — international capital cities, leading me back always to the same concept: home.

Following the vision of beauty of Rafael, since almost 30 years I respond to customers seeking existential experiences rather than vacation spots, travelers pursuing a precise idea of how to be in the world, where to be in the world. Rafael's Legacy

Rafael Neville Count of Berlanga is the Spanish nobleman who fell in love with the granite rocks of Gallura in the early 1960s and decided to found Porto Rafael. I had the fortune to live those years and I still remember the dirt roads covered with sand where walking barefoot reaching friends' houses with lit lanterns in a climate of festive freedom. Even today in Porto Rafael no hotels nor discos exist: just villas and silence.

Splendid villas are camouflaged among the rocks, which are similar to natural stone gates, and turn out to be sweet and harmonious once you get in, with a fascinating graft between roughness and softness — as local islanders' character, suspicious at first sight, but very generous with the guests they trust in. All villas are equipped with the most accurate services and promise discretion and elegance.

Today I share my life and my work among Porto Rafael, Milan and Como, but my residence is here, where I rely on a technical staff acquired over the years and able to face every need. Here I built significant human and professional relations. Here there is my home: Villa Aidan, available for rent.
